This is my first winter back up north. I have spent the last 6 years in the south, first in Georgia and then in Central Florida. I have gotten used to mild winters, or no winter at all, I have found that I am more used to having spring start now. As I sit here working on the laptop, I can see at least 3 feet of snow in my back yard, some places deeper because of drifts. Snow is still in notches of trees, making them look like they have been decorated by nature. I feel such urges to get started planting and making my new flower gardens, herb garden and veggie garden. I know being so far north now, I will have to wait at least til March before
