This is my first winter back up north. I have spent the last 6 years in the south, first in Georgia and then in Central Florida. I have gotten used to mild winters, or no winter at all, I have found that I am more used to having spring start now. As I sit here working on the laptop, I can see at least 3 feet of snow in my back yard, some places deeper because of drifts. Snow is still in notches of trees, making them look like they have been decorated by nature. I feel such urges to get started planting and making my new flower gardens, herb garden and veggie garden. I know being so far north now, I will have to wait at least til March before starting seeds inside. We in zone 4 according to the planting guides. So this too in new for me. I am feeling so much creative energies right now I'm going to try to translate that to my jewelry so that maybe I won't endup trying to figure out a way to have an indoor garden besides the oodles of plants I now have in here. Honestly one day I want a room with lots of windows, where I can all the plants I want inside all the time. But of course right now we are in the middle of remodeling so it will have to wait for a bit.

I have been taking oodles of pictures outside as well. I am hoping for slightly warmer weather tomorrow so that I can get out on the snowmobile to try to get more pics of wildlife. We have a herd of about 17 deer in the back of our property. I have some pics but they are from a distance and I'm trying to get them used to me so that I can get closer. We have seen a little fox as well. I'd love to be able to grab a pic of it.
Still time to work out some frustration and create something.
